Can awning windows remain open in light rain?
Their top-hinged form provides some protection, but suitability depends on wind, rain intensity, opening angle and installation exposure.
Can an awning window include an insect screen?
An internal screen is often possible because the sash opens outward. The final screen detail depends on the frame and operator.
Can awning windows be used high on a wall?
Yes. A suitable manual extension, chain operator or other operating method should be selected for the installation height.
