Yes. Because the sash moves parallel to the wall, it does not require inward or outward swing clearance.
Can sliding windows use insulated glass?
Yes, when the sash profile, rollers and locks are selected for the glazing thickness and finished weight.
Can a sliding window include a removable screen?
Screen options are available for many systems. The screen track and removal direction should be confirmed with the window layout.
